Many organizations have yet to put policies and procedures in place that cover electronic communication tools such as e-mail where simple etiquette can help avoid miscommunication. According to Toronto-based Solutions Research Group, all these digital devices billed as time-savers, tend to have the opposite effect with blackberry owners working more than those who don’t own the device. UK based Digital Research Centre says that office-workers increasingly find themselves in a lose-lose situation… frustrated when they can’t reach somebody and resentful when they are constantly interrupted by the same technology.
