Kathy Morse is a professional trainer/facilitator who has worked with a wide variety of corporate, non-profit and individual clients. With specific talents in performance coaching, stakeholder engagement, public speaking, media and intergovernmental relations, Kathy’s exceptional presentation skills have been honed by an extensive background in radio and television. She has worked in public/media relations and continues to be employed as a professional commercial voice throughout North America.
An engaging presenter and MC with an extensive experience in high pressure decision-making environments, Kathy has developed a number of sessions geared to those who need to engage, persuade or defuse. With superior writing and editing skills, Kathy has the ability to turn complex data into readable, understandable information - the right information for the right audience – and can help you learn the techniques that work using such customized programs as “Writing for the Reader” and “Speaking for the Listener”
As a former Councilor and Mayor of a Lower Mainland community, Kathy has demonstrated leadership in complex multi-stakeholder environments, extensive knowledge of strategic planning development and design, public policy development, implementation and evaluation, and unique conflict resolution skills used to successfully defuse uncomfortable situations. Her knowledge of the influences on political decision-making is an invaluable tool in the planning process.
Extensive volunteer work includes directorships on a number of non-profit Boards which has provided her with great insight into the complexities and rewards of working with of a volunteer base. Kathy is a skilled team leader with positive energy and motivation that serve as an inspiration to others.
